Project Design Coordinator TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING S.A DUBAI BRANCH

The Project Design Coordinator to work on behalf of the Client and to be based in Client’s offices in Jeddah/Riyadh, KSA and handle thermal power generation project(s). He shall be responsible for the following key activities:

•To act as the focal point between the Client, Design Review Consultant, EPC Contractor and their design Consultant, regulatory bodies and other project stakeholders

•Track the submission of design deliverables as per the Master Document List (MDL), review coordination, approval process including designs, drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with the project’s quality standards and regulatory requirements

•Ensure timely dissemination of deliverables to relevant parties, keeping all stakeholders informed about the status and schedule of submissions

•Develop and maintain a detailed schedule for engineering deliverable reviews, approvals, and submissions, monitor progress and flag potential delays, working with stakeholders to mitigate schedule risks

•Organize regular meetings (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) with the Consultant, EPC Contractor, and other stakeholders to review the status of engineering deliverables and address any issues or concerns, prepare and distribute meeting agenda, meeting notes, action items and follow-up actions, produce weekly and monthly progress reports for submission to the stakeholders and to the senior management

team

•Develop and maintain effective communication channels to manage information flow among all project participants

•Maintain comprehensive records of all submissions, approvals, revisions, and correspondences related to engineering deliverables.

•Identify potential risks related to the review and approval of engineering deliverables, including delays, quality issues, and compliance concerns and work with the project team to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies

•Maintain a risk register and track the resolution of issues related to engineering deliverables.

•Assist in managing change management including managing changes to engineering deliverables, ensuring that any changes are properly documented, communicated, and approved according to the project’s change management procedures, track and report the impact of changes on project scope, schedule, and budget.

•Prepare regular progress reports on the status of engineering deliverables, highlighting key achievements, issues, and upcoming milestones
