Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptual Design Development.

• Collaborate with clients and operators to understand their needs, preferences, and objectives.

• Develop innovative and practical kitchen layouts that maximize space utilization, efficiency, and workflow.

• Create initial sketches, mood boards, and concept presentations.


Technical Design and Documentation:

• Prepare detailed design drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings.

• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, health and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP), and operational standards.

• Specify equipment, finishes, and materials tailored to the project’s requirements.


Client and Stakeholder Coordination:

• Present design concepts and proposals to clients for review and approval.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and kitchen equipment suppliers to ensure seamless integration.

• Revise designs based on client feedback and project constraints.


Project Management Support:

• Provide support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development to installation and commissioning.

• Conduct site visits to verify measurements, oversee progress, and address any design-related issues.

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including equipment specifications and schedules.


Industry Expertise:

• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in kitchen design and equipment.

• Offer expert advice on kitchen equipment selection, sustainability, and energy efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in professional kitchen design.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D software and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, appliances, and workflow optimization.

• Familiarity with HACCP and other safety standards.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail and a passion for design excellence.

• Experience working with clients in the F&B or HORECA sectors.

• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and energy-efficient equipment.

• Certification in kitchen design or a related specialization.
