Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety standards, proactively identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement production schedules and workflows, adjusting plans as necessary based on resource availability and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of processes and timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor production metrics and KPIs, using data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall productivity.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of materials while minimizing excess stock.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and skill development through training and performance evaluations.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for production operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality or efficiency.
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures, ensuring products meet industry standards and customer expectations before distribution.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field is essential for a strong technical foundation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role to demonstrate leadership capabilities.
  • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma are highly desirable, reflecting a commitment to process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Experience in the Automotive industry of work, is preferred to ensure relevant knowledge and expertise.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to interpret production data and make informed decisions that drive performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, willing to embrace change and continuously seek ways to enhance production efficiency.
