Roles & Responsibilities
We are currently initiating the recruitment process for one contractor candidate for the position of Production Operator. Please find the requirements and details below:
The Production Operator will carry out a variety of assignments related to the operation and control of the oil production process at CCP & GSP during assigned shifts. Responsibilities include operating equipment related to the collection of crude oil, produced water, and associated gas from producing wells; performing inspection and servicing of wellhead platforms, well flow lines, test separators, gas traps, chokes, and other related equipment. The role also requires ensuring all operations are conducted in accordance with approved operating procedures, taking corrective action during emergencies, and strictly adhering to safety standards and supervisor instructions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Nationality: National (Direct)
- Education & Experience:
Completion of Secondary (12 years) education
Minimum 2 years of full-time technical training
Minimum required experience: 3 years (5 years preferred) - Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of diversified experience in oilfield operations
At least 2 years of experience in offshore facilities
General mechanical maintenance experience
Technical Competency:
- Manage, optimize, and ensure quality of production
- Organize plant management activities
- Operate and manage control systems
- Perform and manage well testing
- Understand, comply with, and implement activities in line with BPOMS
- Offshore Rotation Cycle: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (duty/leave cycle)
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills with fluency in English
