Position Title: Filling Machine Operator
Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
Position Overview
The Filling Machine Operator report to the Production Manager/Supervisor
The job holder has the responsibility to operate the equipment and all of its affiliated processes (preparing raw materials & packaging, unloading, packing & labeling), in compliance with legal and company rules.
Primary Responsibilities
Generally performs, with supervision, entry level production tasks which include:
- Operate filling machines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Set up, adjust, and monitor filling equipment to achieve production targets.
- Ensure correct filling volumes, weights, and labeling as per product specifications.
- Conduct pre-start checks, routine inspections, and minor adjustments to equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area in accordance with 5S principles.
- Follow all safety rules, wear required PPE, and report hazards or equipment issues immediately.
- Record production data, batch numbers, and downtime accurately.
- Assist in changeovers for different products or packaging formats.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma
- No prior experience required
- Knowledge of common software programs (MS office)
- Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions.
- Availability to work in shift
- 1 year experience in industrial environment
- Understanding of basic English
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Walk and climb stairs
- Use hands to remove or lift boxes
- Stretch and reach with arms extended
- Stoop and bend
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Temperature, dust, smell and noise are under normal chemical environment conditions
