Position Overview

Job Title: Production Manager
Reports To: DGM/Operations Head
Department: Production

Job Purpose:
Lead and manage the entire production process to ensure quality output, cost efficiency, safety, and timely delivery, while driving continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling Create and implement production schedules, optimize resource utilization, and coordinate with supply chain, quality, and maintenance.
Operations Management Supervise daily production, minimize downtime, and maintain accurate records.
Quality & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental norms.
People Management Lead, train, and motivate teams; manage shifts, attendance, and discipline.
Continuous Improvement Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement initiatives.

Education & Experience

Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering (or related field)
812 years in manufacturing/production (min. 3 years managerial experience)
Industry preference: HVAC, automotive, electronics, or related manufacturing
