Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee daily wood factory operations to ensure efficient and timely production of high-quality wood products.
- Coordinate and supervise production teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules, optimizing workflow and resource allocation.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement as needed.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the factory.
- Collaborate with design and project management teams to align production output with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate production records and generate regular performance reports for management.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive initiatives for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
Desired Candidate Profile
10-20 years of proven experience in a production management or supervisory role, preferably within a wood factory or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of wood manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality control standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate production teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and schedules.
