Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and resolve production issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the production area.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Support new product introductions by coordinating with R&D and quality assurance teams.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and process enhancements.
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
- Analyze the root causes of downtime and technical issues, and provide solutions to improve production efficiency.
- Prepare daily reports on workflow, key performance indicators (KPIs), and raw material consumption.
- Monitor machine and equipment operating parameters to maintain product quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture - Food Science & Technology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Proven ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with production planning and resource allocation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office applications.
- Flexibility to work rotational shifts.
- Applicants preferred to be from: 10th of Ramadan City, Obour City, Shrouk, Future City, or along the Ring Road from the direction of El Salam or El Marg.
