Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate on-site construction activities, including resource allocation, equipment management, and subcontractor supervision.
- Oversee and optimize construction processes to enhance efficiency and minimize operational costs, ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule.
- Develop and implement detailed production plans, schedules, and workflows, aligning with overall project objectives and timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to guarantee adherence to engineering designs, specifications, and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction, proposing effective and practical solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and project progress.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, documentation, and performance analyses to track project milestones and key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and environmental guidelines throughout the construction phase.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and hazards on-site, implementing safety protocols and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve construction methodologies, incorporating innovative technologies and industry best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Holds professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction within the EPC industry.
- Exhibits strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P.
- Offers exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Displays excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering collaboration among diverse teams.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities, including the capacity to motivate and guide construction teams.
- Has a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Shows a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment; Fluency in English is essential, and additional language skills are advantageous.
