Job Responsibilities :
Perform chemical analysis & physical property testing of material & products
Research new products from trial through to commercialisation and improve product lines
Coordinate & perform testing
Analysis data to develop conclusion
Communicate result of analysis & research
Evaluate current processes and develop improvements to safety, quality & efficency.
Create standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products & test.
Assist in establishment of timeline and budgets.
Design plant and equipment configuration so that they can be readily adapted to suit the product range and the process technologies involved, taking environmental and economic aspects into account.
design, install and commission new production plants, including monitoring developments and troubleshooting
Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of instruments
Provide training and mentorship to technical staff
Writing of technical reports
Chemical Engineer Qualification & Skills
Applied knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques
Demonstrated ability to solve highly technical problems
Strong technical weiting ablility
Direct experience with the use of spreadsheet & database software to compile, analyze, and present data
Familiarity with process improvement methodollogies (Six Sigma, lean manufacturing)
Ability to execute tasks with minimal oeversight
Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills in English & Hindi
Chemical Engineer Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field
Master's degree in chemical enngineering or a related field desirable
Five to Seven year's experience in a production field of Water Treatment Chemicals is manditory.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
Strong technical background in water and wastewater treatment processes
