Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive production planning to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency across multiple business units.
- Planning production processes, managing raw material and product inventory, and optimizing the use of production capacity to fulfill customer production and maintenance requests.
- Lead the planning team in forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and coordinating production schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales departments to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of products and services.
- Analyze customer orders, and historical data to create accurate short-term and long-term plans.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Prepare and present regular reports on planning performance, KPIs, and progress to senior management.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and planning tools to streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all planning activities.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in production engineering).
Minimum of 10 year of experience in production planning, within metal manufacturing or engineering industrial sectors.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in planning software and ERP systems.
Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
