Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with client business goals and Odoo best practices.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, customers, and market research, with a strong focus on Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.).
  • Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer needs, business value, and technical constraints.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and Odoo consultants to deliver intuitive, user-centric ERP solutions.
  • Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of Odoo implementations.
  • Monitor product performance and gather feedback from users to drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-team communication, resolve issues, and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Prepare and present product demos, progress reports, and updates to stakeholders and clients.
  • Stay up to date with Odoo releases, competitor ERP solutions, and industry trends to inform product strategy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 2 6 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably within an ERP or Odoo-focused environment.
  • Proven ability to translate business processes into functional requirements and user stories.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP modules (functional knowledge is a strong plus).
  • Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Odoo Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Odoo functional certification is a plus.
