Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery terms
- Continuously research and onboard new suppliers for raw materials and packaging to reduce supply risks
- Develop and maintain contingency sourcing plans (Plan A, B, and C) to handle supply disruptions and emergencies
- Create, issue, and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse, planning, and production teams
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency without compromising quality
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and audit requirements
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Cost Saving % achieved through negotiation and sourcing optimization
- Supplier Lead Time and on-time delivery performance
- Purchase Order Accuracy %
- Supplier Performance Score (Quality Cost Delivery)
- Inventory Availability & Stock-out Reduction
- New Supplier Qualification Rate
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- 2 4 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist in FMCG (preferably food or bakery industry)
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Good understanding of supply chain operations and inventory control
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Odoo or any other ERP system
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
