Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure optimal agreements for the organization.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and align purchasing activities with production schedules.
Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Track inventory levels and forecast future procurement requirements to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information for audit and reporting purposes.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and trends relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and cost-saving opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and relevant regulations.
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports for management review.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
