Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Execution:
Manage end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, vendor selection, PO issuance, and delivery tracking.
Supplier Management:
Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and build relationships to ensure reliable supply chains.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement timelines with project milestones.
Cost & Risk Management:
Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks to support project budgets and deadlines.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure procurement processes comply with internal policies and legal regulations. Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
Inventory Coordination (if applicable):
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/logistics for timely deliveries.
Internship Start date: 15th September
Duration: 6-8 months
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
3 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in a project-based or contract role.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with contract terms and sourcing best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in. FMCG, Personal Care, manufacturing
CIPS or similar procurement certification is a plus.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
