Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist with 1 3 years of experience to support purchasing, vendor management, and import activities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations and import procedures, hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, excellent English communication skills, and prior experience in a distributor, IT solutions provider, or technology-related company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement operations from requisition to delivery.
  • Use Oracle ERP to create and track purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and maintain procurement records.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure competitive terms.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant import clearance.
  • Prepare and review customs documentation (e.g., invoices, bill of lading, certificate of origin, packing lists).
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian customs laws and import/export regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with finance and warehouse teams to reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide accurate reporting and maintain procurement records in line with company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 3 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain.
  • Prior experience working in a distribution, IT, or technology-driven environment (mandatory).
  • Practical knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations and import procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
