Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer / Purchase Officer with a strong background in construction and landscaping materials procurement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC, MEP systems, inventory management, and supplier coordination within the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle end-to-end procurement activities for construction, landscaping, HVAC, and MEP materials. • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement. • Manage purchase orders, supplier contracts, and delivery schedules. • Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to understand material requirements. • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability. • Utilize SAP Business One (SAP B1) for procurement and inventory management. • Manage procurement related to vehicles, equipment, and spare parts when required. • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE regulations. • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory). • 5–7 years of overall procurement experience. • Minimum 3 years of UAE experience, preferably in Dubai. • Strong knowledge of HVAC and MEP systems. • Experience in building materials and landscaping materials procurement. • Hands-on experience with SAP B1 and inventory management systems. • Background in construction, landscaping, or contracting companies is essential. • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
