Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • As a Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services essential for our copper manufacturing operations. You will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and management to ensure timely procurement, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with vendors.
  • Manage purchase orders and track deliveries to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
  • Collaborate with production, finance, and logistics teams to forecast material needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,MBA , Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Any certification : Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) , Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) will be plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, preferably in manufacturing or metals industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems .
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with UAE market and supplier .
