Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary: The Procurement Manager will oversee the procurement activities for electromechanical products and engineering services, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the oil & gas, power and water industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely supply of high-quality materials and services.
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including engineering, operations, and finance, to align procurement activities with company goals.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all procurement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement in the oil & gas industry in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of electromechanical products and engineering services.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Must have a very good experience in using SAP Ariba ( experience with Aramco, Sabic and SEC portals)
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
