Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, fostering strong relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance through regular evaluations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures, maintaining transparency and accountability in all purchasing activities.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement in the supply chain.
- Lead the procurement team, providing mentorship and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Manage inventory levels effectively, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to optimize stock availability.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery conditions while minimizing risks to the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a relevant industry.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems, alongside advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to assess supplier performance and procurement processes for continuous improvement.
