Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the full procurement cycle, from sourcing suppliers to final delivery of materials and services.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand material and equipment needs for each project.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to get the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in line with company policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with quality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers while maintaining a competitive procurement environment.
  • Track material costs and availability to support budgeting and project planning.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company standards throughout the procurement process.
  • Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth payment and delivery processes.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve procurement efficiency and reduce project costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience in procurement within the construction or contracting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficient in procurement software and familiar with ERP systems.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and cost control skills.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business; certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of local/international sourcing and compliance regulations is an advantage.
