Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Receive the PRs and procure the materials requested and ensure delivery on-time with the set budgets.

  • Sourcing Local/ Foreign suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.
  • Conducting a market survey periodically to get the best prices and evaluate the performance of suppliers.
  • Preparing Request for Quotation for the material requested by the technical department.
  • Comparing the offer received technically, financially & delivery time, then summarize the recommended offers into a presentable sheet to be presented to the managers to enable the decision making.
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers, ensuring that the items meet the required specifications.
  • Issue purchase orders and execute the purchasing process according to the approved PO s.
  • Following up the P.O. status, starting from the P.O. Signing until the ordered material is delivered to our storage and approved by the Q.C. department within agreed deadlines.
  • Review invoices with Supplier s to ensure payments are in-place and follow up on credits, payment terms, and solve problems.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering is a must.

  • From 1 to 4 years of relevant experience as procurement engineer or a related field.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Excellent negotiation and networking skill
  • Solid judgment along with decision-making
