Job Description:


We are seeking a details-oriented and experienced Procurement Engineer to manage our procurement activities with a focus on spare parts within heavy industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating terms, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery in alignment with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Request vendor quotations and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders and contractual agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and resolve any deficiencies.
  • Analyze market and demand trends to support the development and execution of effective sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to align procurement efforts with operational needs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in a Procurement Engineer or similar role, with a specific focus on spare parts & services procurement in heavy industry.
  • Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering; additional certification or coursework in supply chain management is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of strategic sourcing and procurement practices.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and experience with business application software, including procurement and Microsoft office.
