Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in line with approved budgets and requirements.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and other departments to ensure materials and spare parts availability.
- Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier information.
- Resolve any issues related to supply shortages, delayed deliveries, or non-conformance.
- Support supply chain improvement initiatives and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain engineering.
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
