Abdulla Al Arif Holding LLC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to manage and support procurement activities for engineering and construction projects. The role involves sourcing materials and services, evaluating suppliers, coordinating with technical and project teams, and ensuring timely procurement in line with project specifications, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.

• Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and bid documents in coordination with technical teams.

• Analyze technical and commercial bids and prepare comparison sheets.

  Coordination & Project Support

• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and site teams to understand project requirements.

• Ensure procurement schedules align with project timelines and milestones.

• Support negotiations with vendors and subcontractors in coordination with management.

• Issue purchase orders and subcontracts in compliance with company procedures.

  Technical & Commercial Compliance

• Ensure materials and equipment meet approved technical specifications and standards.

• Review technical submittals, datasheets, and compliance statements from suppliers.

• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality requirements.

  Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain procurement records, vendor documentation, and contract files.

• Prepare procurement status reports and expediting logs.

• Support claims, variations, and cost control with procurement-related data when required.
