Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and manage procurement plans for construction projects, including identifying, sourcing, and purchasing required materials, equipment, and services.
Prepare and review technical specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and material submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Coordinate with the technical office, site teams, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of quality materials and services.
Evaluate and assess potential suppliers and subcontractors, conducting cost analyses, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations.
Maintain an organized procurement database and update project records to ensure transparency and traceability.
Ensure compliance with project timelines by closely monitoring the procurement schedule and resolving any supply chain issues.
Collaborate with the project management team to track material usage and ensure there are no project delays due to procurement issues.
Liaise with legal and finance departments to review and finalize contracts and purchase orders.
Perform market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-effective alternatives.
Handle inventory management for materials and ensure proper documentation for all purchases.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in civil engineering, architecture engineering
    5 9 years of experience in procurement for construction projects, ideally within a technical office environment.
    Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and procurement processes.
    Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and procurement-related software.
    Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
    Experience in cost estimation, supply chain management, and vendor management.
    Strong understanding of contract management and procurement regulations.
    Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
    Previous experience working on large-scale construction projects is highly desirable
