Roles & Responsibilities

Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates


Key Responsibilities:


Manage the full procurement cycle for construction materials, equipment, and services required for road contracting projects.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with reliable suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement.
Prepare and process purchase orders (POs), request for quotations (RFQs), and purchase agreements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
Coordinate closely with the project, site, and engineering teams to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure favorable terms and consistent supply.
Ensure compliance with company policies, project timelines, and procurement standards.
Monitor market trends, material availability, and cost changes to support procurement planning.
Handle multiple tasks efficiently and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing within the construction or road contracting industry in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and material sourcing.
Familiarity with UAE market suppliers and construction materials.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
