Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the procurement and tendering team, fostering professional growth and high performance.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for money.

Oversee the end-to-end tendering process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and awarding contracts.

Ensure transparency and fairness in the tendering process, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.

Work closely with stakeholders to develop technical specifications and evaluation criteria.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favourable and minimize risk exposure.

Monitor contract execution, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and performance requirements.

Handle contract variations, claims, disputes, and renewals in coordination with internal processes.

Maintain supplier relationships, including vendor selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.

Address bidder inquiries and lead pre-bid meetings, negotiations, and clarifications.

Assist in developing and reviewing ICV Strategy and ensure compliance with internal guidelines & policies.

Review and monitor ICV implementation and report performance.

Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement activities with organizational goals.

Maintain a centralized contract management system for tracking contract milestones, expirations, and obligations.

Ensure timely procurement of goods and services to meet operational and project needs.

Prepare reports and analytics on procurement performance, contract status, and cost savings initiatives.

Carry out any other activities as and when required by the reporting manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education Level bachelor s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, PMP) is advantageous.

Experience

6 years of experience including 2 years in managerial role is preferred.
