Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct Quantitative and Qualitative Risk Assessments (QRA) in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate HAZOP, HAZID, PHSE studies, and other safety reviews for oil & gas and process facilities.
  • Perform process safety audits, identify gaps, and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
  • Support development and implementation of process safety management systems and ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and safety documentation for client submission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5–6 years of proven experience in process safety engineering within the Oil & Gas and Process Industry.
  • Strong expertise in QRA (both qualitative and quantitative) methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in facilitating HAZOP, HAZID, PHSE studies.
  • Proven track record in conducting safety audits in line with international standards.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
  • Currently based in the UAE.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with international safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, API, IEC, ADNOC standards).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
