Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage process improvement initiatives across departments to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
  • Design, implement, and monitor KPIs that align with operational and strategic goals.
  • Analyze production data and processes to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • Plan and execute energy, water, and utility-saving projects, ensuring measurable and sustainable impact.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure process changes are aligned and well-integrated.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective/preventive actions where inefficiencies or losses are identified.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee involvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on progress, results, and opportunities.
  • Analyze process data to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reduce scrap and rework, and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement, hands-on training, and structured problem-solving.
  • Review and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) ensure updates reflect actual material usage and process changes.
  • Lead training programs for operators, supervisors, and technicians to strengthen process knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and adherence to standards.
  • Support trials and commissioning of new materials, equipment, and process upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards and product-specific certifications (as EN standards)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement or operational excellence, preferably in the glass industry.
  • Proven experience with KPI systems, lean manufacturing, and energy-saving initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive measurable results.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and manufacturing best practices.
