RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and supervise Process Engineering teams across Feasibility, Conceptual Studies, Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC projects.
• Undertake process design work for units as required and supervise/check assigned engineers' work.
• Execute process engineering activities within budget and schedule while maintaining technical integrity.
• Ensure design methods, standards, and data conform to client requirements and project specifications.
• Check and approve basis of design, process calculations, and safety-related calculations to ensure robust design.
• Review and approve key deliverables, including:
  • Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
  • Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Process Safety Flow Schemes (PSFS)
  • Design Pressure/Temperature Diagrams (DPTDs)
  • Equipment & Instrument Specifications
  • Process Descriptions and Cause & Effect Charts
• Review and approve specialized studies, such as:
  • Dynamic simulation, transient, surge, and MDMT studies
  • Depressurization studies, flare load estimation, and flare system design
• Ensure high safety standards and compliance with Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures.
• Provide input to HAZOP, SIL, and other safety reviews and approve safety-related calculations.
• Identify and implement new methodologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Participate in technical meetings and client discussions; contribute to supplier quotation reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Licensor's Secrecy Agreements and project-specific standards.
• Identify project impediments and report issues to Project Managers, Engineering Managers, or Discipline Heads.
• Manage engineering teams as Lead Discipline Engineer, ensuring timely delivery of project requirements.
• Mentor and train junior engineers to support their development.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and reporting, including preparation of pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and operating manuals.
• Support proposal activities by providing man-hour estimation and scheduling input.

b>QUALIFICATIONS/b> br/>

• Must have at least five (5) years of experience
• Proficient in Process Simulation software's such as HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, PipeNet, Pipesim, OLGA etc. and should be a subject matter expert.
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
• Experience of working in a multi - project / multi - disciplined environment and throughout all engineering and design phases of projects
• Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
