Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Contribute to improving productivity by providing technical support within the workshop, ensure the smooth running of production by putting in place the necessary means and guaranteeing their capability, support manufacturing by providing technical expertise on defects related to the manufacturing process.

  • Validate the manufacturing process in accordance with the requirements of the definition file
  • Draft the documents necessary for the conduct of the processes by the production staff
  • Assist production in case of problems related to manufacturing and control processes and equipment.
  • Organize workstations
  • study the implementation of new means and procedures
  • Intervening from the development phase to the end of the series
  • Analyze and take into account workshop feedback as part of continuous improvement
  • Conducting validation and characterization plans for test benches and tools
  • Participate in product validation and characterization tests
  • Ensuring process stability
  • Conducting expert assessments to isolate root causes through experimentation
  • Propose solutions to product problems
  • Analyze the test results
  • Launch the trials on the different testing methods
  • Perform visual checks
  • Analyze the results and performance curves of the products from the tests
  • Knowing and understanding how test products work
  • Addressing non-quality
  • Implementation and monitoring of process FMEAs
  • To be the guarantor of compliance with the workshop's technical reference: technical specifications, group standards.

Knowledge of electronics

Knowledge of electrical engineering

Knowledge of mechanics

Reading and understanding plans from design offices (Electrical / Mechanical)

Knowledge of instrumentation and measurements

Knowledge of test benches/test software

Expertise approaches to problem-solving (Brainstorming, 8D, ISHIKAWA, FMEA, QQOQCCP)

Use of digital tools (Minitab / SPC / SAP / Office Suite)

Statistical methods or tools, Six Sigma

Drafting notes and technical test reports

Desired Candidate Profile

With a Master's degree (Bac +5) in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering, multidisciplinary experience (technical and industrial management), and strong analytical skills. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working in teams. Autonomous, proactive, and creative. A good communicator (interacting with multiple stakeholders: Engineering France, Methods, Production, clients, suppliers).
