Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead civil and transport infrastructure drainage design for complex projects
- Perform detailed analysis and review of hydrological and hydraulic models
- Provide technical expertise for drainage and stormwater quality systems including piped networks and major transverse drainage structures
- Deliver hydraulic and system designs tailored to site-specific requirements
- Apply biological and physical stormwater management principles in design solutions
- Introduce innovative approaches, digital delivery methods, and value engineering solutions
- Supervise, mentor, and support intermediate and junior engineers
- Undertake hydrologic modeling, calculations, drawings, reports, design reviews, and supervision
- Lead projects with high accountability, build strong client relationships, and obtain design approvals
- Coordinate closely with CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling teams to ensure integrated delivery
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil, Hydraulic, or Environmental Engineering
Minimum 15 years of experience in water engineering, including stormwater drainage design for civil and transport projects
Minimum 9 years of regional experience with strong familiarity with Dubai Municipality standards
Demonstrated leadership experience on complex drainage and infrastructure projects
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within defined timelines
