Roles & Responsibilities
Pressing & Ironing: Iron, steam, or press garments and linens according to fabric type and customer specifications. Ensure clothes are wrinkle-free, neatly finished, and properly shaped. Fabric Care: Identify different fabrics and use appropriate temperature and methods to avoid damage. Handle delicate or specialty items with extra care. Quality Control: Inspect garments before and after pressing to ensure there are no stains, damages, or poor finishes. Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor. Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate ironing boards, steam presses, and other pressing equipment safely. Clean and maintain machines regularly to ensure efficient operation. Workflow & Efficiency: Organize and prioritize workload to meet delivery deadlines. Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Team Coordination: Cooperate with washing, folding, and packaging staff to ensure smooth workflow. Assist with other laundry tasks when necessary. Health & Safety: Follow safety procedures while handling hot equipment and steam. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
1–5 years of experience in laundry pressing or ironing. Good knowledge of different fabrics and proper pressing techniques. Attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Able to work efficiently and handle workload in a busy environment. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking team player.
