Power & Energy Lead

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for overseeing the power systems and energy management within our data center. This role involves ensuring optimal power efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, while supporting the continuous operation of critical infrastructure.

• Oversee the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of all power systems in the data center, including UPS, generators, and distribution systems.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize energy consumption and reduce costs while ensuring reliability and performance.
• Utilize monitoring systems to track power usage and efficiency metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and facility teams to ensure seamless integration of power systems with overall data center infrastructure.
• Lead efforts in diagnosing and resolving power-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Promote and implement renewable energy solutions and sustainable practices within the data center.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in power management and electrical systems within data centers or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of energy efficiency principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with power monitoring systems and relevant software tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PE, LEED) are a plus.
