Job Description

KILONEWTONS is looking for a skilled POST-TENSIONING ENGINEER to oversee the design, installation, and quality control of post-tensioning systems for our high-profile construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design post-tensioning systems for slabs, beams, and foundations
  • Supervise PT installation on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications
  • Prepare shop drawings and technical documentation
  • Conduct stress calculations and elongation verifications
  • Coordinate with contractors, structural engineers, and project managers
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and provide technical solutions
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (PTI, FIB)
  • Conduct quality inspections of materials and workmanship
  • Train site crews on proper PT installation techniques

Must-Have Skills
  • Bachelor s in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 5+ years hands-on PT experience in UAE/GCC projects
  • Expertise in:
  • Bonded & unbonded post-tensioning systems
  • PT anchorages and stressing equipment
  • Corrosion protection systems
  • Software Proficiency:
  • AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)
  • PT design software (RAM Concept, ADAPT-PT)
  • SAP2000/ETABS
  • MS Office (Advanced Excel)
  • Certifications (Preferred):
  • PTI Level II/III
  • PMP
  • Dubai/Abu Dhabi Municipality approval
