Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pool filtration, circulation, and heating systems. • Conduct routine inspections of pumps, filters, strainers, valves, and dosing units. • Perform water testing for pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels; adjust dosing as required in consult with water quality team. • Carry out disinfection procedures including shock treatments and backwashing. • Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment including motors, timers, and control panels. • Monitor water temperature, clarity, and flow rates to ensure safe swimming conditions. • Maintain accurate records of water testing, chemical usage, and maintenance activities. • Coordinate with the Water Quality Team for compliance audits and inspections. • Supervise and guide the Pool Cleaner in daily cleaning routines and safety practices. • Report major faults or equipment failures to the Principal Building Technician. • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with UAE health and safety regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Technical certification in pool maintenance or mechanical systems preferred. • Minimum 2 years of experience in pool operations and equipment handling. • Strong understanding of water chemistry and pool safety standards. • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical diagrams. • Good communication and supervisory skills. • Familiarity with CMMS systems and digital reporting tools is a plus.
