Roles & Responsibilities
Job Requirement:
The Pool & SPA Technician to operate, control, monitor, and record overall Pool & Spa equipment such as Swimming pool filter, booster pumps, filtration system, heat cool pumps, heaters, heat exchangers. Monitoring & controlling chemical parameter of all water facilities making sure all are maintain within Marriott as well as local standard. Water Fountain operation and maintenance. SPA steam, sauna & Jacuzzi operation and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure Pool & SPA facilities are working properly.
- Daily 3-time pool chemical reading to be taken and record to be keep in file.
- Daily morning chemical reading for all water facilities area need to update in transcendent and request to be close within timeframe.
- Preventive maintenance need to be done for all equipment as per schedule.
- Attend daily briefing and get a handover from the previous shift.
- Follow the routine Preventive maintenance task activity and recorded accordingly
- Assist Duty engineer to make sure overall pool & spa equipment in proper and maximum condition and follow the Duty engineer to implement P&M activity in appropriate times and when the guests require
- Follow safety rules such as HACCP, ADAFSA, OSHAD. Practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.
- Take care of any guest/ staff requests and complete them within the appropriate time. If unable to complete with your shift to handover to next shift accordingly
- Deliver the stock items for mechanical/shift workshop and recorded accordingly
- Assist Duty engineer to re-stock the daily consumable material in workshop area such as light, contactor etc.
- Assist duty engineer to establishes and maintain seamless interaction and communication with all related departments.
- Handle the routine checklist for overall pool and spa compliance in the property
- Able to work any shift that is assigned to him by Management or Supervisor
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: Driver s License
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
