Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Planning Team Leader to oversee the planning and scheduling functions across multiple construction projects. This role requires advanced proficiency in project planning tools, team leadership, and the ability to ensure the successful and timely delivery of project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and project milestones.
- Upload and manage all required labor, equipment, and material resources into planning software.
- Initiate and periodically update the S-Curve Virtual Progress Plan based on actual site conditions and project needs.
- Prepare and structure the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to ensure compatibility with the approved Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Generate and manage cash flow forecasts in alignment with the client s financing capacity and project deliverables.
- Oversee the continuous monitoring, follow-up, and updating of the project timeline, including periodic comparisons with the baseline program.
- Validate progress data from multiple stakeholders and sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Review and approve invoice verifications based on cost-loaded schedules for payment processing.
- Identify and analyze critical path activities, inter-discipline dependencies, and potential risks affecting the timeline.
- Deliver regular project performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Develop and update a procurement plan, tracking both local and imported materials along with key submission dates.
- Support the preparation of delay claims using recognized time impact analysis methodologies.
- Ensure on-time delivery of planning outputs and performance reports as per project timelines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress control.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with on-site construction activities is an advantage.
