Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background and strong exposure to MEP works (HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical). The candidate should have hands-on planning experience in contracting companies and be capable of handling project schedules, progress monitoring, and reporting.

  • Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar planning tools
  • Develop baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans
  • Monitor project progress for HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical works
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors
  • Analyze delays and prepare progress and variance reports
  • Support planning, cost control, and project coordination activities
  • Ensure schedules align with project milestones and contractual requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP works (HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical)
  • 5–15 years overall experience in planning, preferably with contracting companies
  • Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel
  • Experience in GCC projects preferred
