As a Planning Engineer you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controling project schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of construction and development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting for large-scale projects, including towers, high-rise buildings, and commercial complexes.
Key Accountabilities:
• Develop baseline project schedules in coordination with project teams.
• Monitor project progress and prepare periodic updates and forecasts.
• Coordinate with Technical Office, Procurement, and Site teams to ensure alignment with timelines.
• Follow up on contracts, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure deliverables are met according to agreed schedules.
• Integrate contract milestones and obligations into project timelines for effective tracking.
• Prepare progress reports for management and stakeholders.
• Monitor resource allocation and productivity to ensure efficiency.
• Support cost control by integrating budget data with schedules.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and client expectations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
• Bachelor s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 4 8 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction or real estate development.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Proficiency in preparing dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of project planning principles, cost control, and resource management.
• Familiarity with Saudi building codes and GCC project standards is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
