Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Our client a European multinational engineering consultancy working on project across KSA is looking to hire Planning Engineer (Architecture) Based in Riyadh, KSA.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Project Schedules:
Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules using project management software (like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project).
- Monitoring Progress:
Tracking project progress against the schedule, identifying deviations, and developing mitigation strategies.
- Resource Management:
Optimizing resource allocation (personnel, materials, equipment) to ensure efficient project execution.
- Risk Management:
Identifying potential project risks, assessing their impact, and developing mitigation plans.
- Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
- Change Management:
Implementing and managing change control processes to address scope changes or other modifications.
- Reporting:
Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
- Quality Control:
Ensuring project activities adhere to quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Team Leadership:
Mentoring junior planning engineers and providing technical guidance.
- Compliance:
Ensuring project schedules comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and scheduling principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Experience with reinforced concrete (RC) projects.
- Familiarity with specific project types (e.g., Buidlings, Hotels, infrastructure).
- Experience with claims management.
