Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, forecasts, and updates to management and project teams.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in resource allocation and workload planning to optimize project efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations throughout project execution.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations on planning and scheduling matters.
- Support the preparation of tender schedules, work breakdown structures, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve planning and scheduling conflicts.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Planning Engineer or in a similar project planning role.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and scheduling techniques.
- Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Experience working in an office-based environment with cross-functional teams.
