Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Abdulla Al Arif Holding LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer to support effective project planning, scheduling, and control across its projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

  • Prepare baseline schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and resource-loaded programs.

  • Monitor site progress and update schedules on a regular basis.

  • Analyze delays, identify critical path issues, and propose recovery and mitigation plans.

  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors.

  • Prepare progress reports, S-curves, cash flow forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.

  • Support project claims, variations, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions when required.

  • Ensure planning activities comply with contract requirements and company standards.

  • Participate in internal and client progress meetings and provide planning insights.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil Engineering.

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer

  • Proven experience in UAE projects is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of construction planning and project control processes.

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is mandator
