Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive project schedules and plans to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Utilize advanced planning tools and methodologies, including Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar, to create and manage detailed project schedules.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Oversee and coordinate the planning activities for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing detailed analysis and reports on schedule adherence, critical path activities, and potential risks.
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, and resource constraints, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough project reviews and generate status reports for senior management and clients, highlighting key issues and recommending solutions.
  • Facilitate planning meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions to ensure effective communication and collaboration among project teams.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, company procedures, and best practices in all planning activities.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior planning engineers and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling, with a strong background in managing large and complex projects.
  • Mandatory work experience in a Project Management Consulting firm
  • Must have worked on high rise project OR Airport project
  • Advanced proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management principles, construction methodologies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPP (Certified Planning Professional).
  • Experience in cost control and budget management.
  • Familiarity with contract management and negotiation.
