Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Review and provide engineering consent on contractors baseline schedules in accordance with contract conditions and Parsons recommended practices
- Validate project resource allocation to support timely completion of infrastructure works
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules covering multiple work packages and their interdependencies
- Review progress updates and identify potential delays, critical path impacts, and schedule risks
- Conduct what-if and time impact analysis for variations, changes, and potential events
- Prepare monthly progress reports with schedule analysis, recovery recommendations, and milestone tracking
- Perform detailed assessment of delay and disruption claims, including extension of time using recognized delay analysis methodologies
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve planning and scheduling issues
- Participate in project meetings and provide clear planning inputs, records, and action tracking
- Establish and monitor progress measurement systems and key performance indicators
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project planning records and contemporary documentation
- Issue delay notices and performance correspondence related to schedule non-compliance
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling for infrastructure projects including roads, stormwater, sewerage, and utilities
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Solid understanding of contract administration and construction planning principles
- Ability to communicate clearly and present planning data to management and stakeholders
- Registration as a practicing engineer in Abu Dhabi or UAE equivalency certificate is preferred
