Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software like Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones.
- Conduct thorough progress monitoring and analysis, identifying critical path activities and potential delays to proactively implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction) to integrate their inputs and ensure schedule accuracy and feasibility.
- Perform what-if scenario planning and schedule risk analysis to evaluate the impact of potential changes and uncertainties on project timelines.
- Manage and control project budgets by integrating schedule and cost data, providing accurate cost forecasts and variance analysis.
- Oversee the change management process, assessing the impact of scope changes on the schedule and budget, and updating plans accordingly.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project planning procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Analyze project performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize schedule performance.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, and relevant industry standards and regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Exhibits a deep understanding of project management methodologies, including critical path method (CPM) and earned value management (EVM).
- Demonstrates strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project – essential for schedule development, monitoring and control.
