Piping Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Piping Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing piping systems that meet project specifications and safety standards. Working closely with other engineers, the Piping Engineer will conduct thorough analyses and ensure that all systems operate efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. Ideal candidates will have experience with CAD software and an in-depth knowledge of industrial piping design. Responsibilities

• Design and develop piping systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct stress analysis and performance testing to ensure system integrity and reliability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping systems into larger engineering projects.
• Prepare detailed design documentation and technical drawings using CAD software tools.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely availability of piping materials and components.
• Conduct site inspections and provide guidance during construction and installation phases.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the design and implementation stages.
• Identify potential problems within piping systems and propose effective solutions promptly.
• Review and approve vendor technical documents and ensure alignment with project standards.
• Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and support staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in piping technology.
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on system design and cost estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial piping design and engineering.
• Proficient in CAD software and other engineering design tools and applications.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with stress analysis and performance testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines effectively.
