Roles & Responsibilities

PIPING Engineer (EPC) O&G, Petrochemical, Refinery

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer with strong EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery sectors. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to Saudi Aramco / JV projects, with a solid understanding of design standards, codes, specifications, and site execution requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed piping design and engineering for Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical EPC projects.
  • Develop and review P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, MTOs, and stress analysis reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Aramco standards (SAES, SAMSS, SAEP) and international codes such as ASME, API, ASTM, and ANSI.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Participate in model reviews and resolve design clashes or interface issues.
  • Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and engineering deliverables for procurement and construction.
  • Review vendor drawings and documents for compliance with project specifications.
  • Support field engineering and construction teams with technical clarifications, site modifications, and as-built drawings.
  • Participate in design review meetings, HAZOP, and constructability reviews.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet schedule, cost, and quality requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in EPC piping engineering for Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical projects.
  • Proven experience working with Saudi Aramco / JV (approved / experienced candidates preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of piping design, stress analysis, and material selection.
  • Proficiency in engineering software
  • Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in a multicultural work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Saudi Aramco Approved Engineer (Piping Discipline) – advantage.
  • PMP / FEED / EPC project exposure – preferred.
  • Safety and Quality certifications
