Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of pipeline technicians and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to optimize their effectiveness.
  • Oversee the safe and efficient operation of ADNOC pipeline systems, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and operational procedures.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of pipeline operations, including flow rates, pressures, and any incidents or anomalies.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to address pipeline leaks, spills, or other emergencies, mitigating potential environmental damage.
  • Manage the pipeline's cathodic protection systems, ensuring their effectiveness in preventing corrosion and extending the lifespan of the pipeline.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to ensure seamless pipeline operations and project execution.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pipeline regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements to optimize pipeline performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or a relevant technical diploma.
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or a relevant technical diploma.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as API 1169 Pipeline Inspector Certification or equivalent, is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on pipeline operations and maintenance.
  • Has specific experience working with ADNOC pipeline systems and a thorough understanding of their operational requirements is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of pipeline integrity management principles and practices.
  • Exhibits proficiency in pipeline inspection techniques, including ultrasonic testing, radiography, and other non-destructive examination methods.
  • Possesses excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates fluency in English and Arabic is highly preferred.
  • Exhibits a strong commitment to safety, environmental protection, and operational excellence.
